NEWS ABOUT THE HUMAN FERTILISATION AND EMBRYOLOGY BILL - The Government has now postponed until Autumn the final stages of its Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill, including debate on pro-abortion amendments. The Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (SPUC) believes the government's decision was influenced by the marvellous opposition of courageous church leaders, churchgoers and supporters to this profoundly unethical Bill, for which SPUC is enormously grateful. More help is now needed to campaign against the bill over the summer. Telephone SPUC on 020 7091 7091 or email political@spuc.org.uk. |

IF YOU HAVE TO GO INTO HOSPITAL please let your parish priest know. When you get there, ask to see
the Roman Catholic Chaplain and request Holy Communion. With the
present emphasis on confidentiality it is not enough to fill in
the form and put RC against your name. If you just do that, nothing
will happen.
The RC Chaplains are:
Wimborne Hospital: Father Kenneth Noakes
Poole Hospital: Deacon Declan McConville (tel:665511)
Bournemouth Hospital: Father Ronald Hishon (tel:513380)
If you face major surgery and would like to be anointed beforehand,
please let Father Noakes know. The longer notice the better. |

a source of parish information to everyone so if you want to suggest how it can be improved, then please share your ideas with Canon Noakes
or Deacon Michael or click on this link to email
