Christmas Child Box Appeal 2008 – Covered shoeboxes will be available after Masses next weekend, 30/31 Aug. Collection of filled boxes will take place from mid to end of October. The contribution towards transport this year is £2.50. Queries or problems, please contact Ann Bartlett, '692712.

Parking by the Church – If you need to park your car in a space by the church which will prevent other cars from leaving, please move your car as soon as you can after Mass. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

Church Grounds – many thanks to those who cut the grass, trim hedges and do other jobs around the grounds. Extra help will always be appreciated to keep the area tidy; every little helps!

The Human Fertilisation & Embryology Bill - has been postponed by the government until October. There are still plenty of cards available in the porch to send to MPs – it is not too late to write! Please continue your support of Right to Life; information is on the cards.
